Discipleship

Jesus put it this way to his little group of immediate followers: "I have been given say over all things in heaven and in earth. As you go, therefore, make disciples of all kinds of people, submerge them in the Trinitarian Presence, and show them how to do everything I have commanded. And now look: I am with you every minute until the job is done" (Matthew 28:18-20). We see in world history the results of a small number of his disciples simply doing what he said.

Many people wear a bracelet that reminds them to ask 'What would Jesus do?'. This is a good thing but we also try to go a further and ask 'What DID Jesus do?. Jesus trained his disciples to be like him. and this is what we want to do. We seek to be like Jesus and help others to be like him. We want to make disciples of all, whether they are in the church or outside it.
